Flower of life porcelain pendant-Sacred Geometry

Hand carved sacred geometry porcelain pendant representing the flower of life

Flower of Life

These porcelain pendant have been hand carved in translucent porcelain and painted with gold by Belen Berganza.

Literally appearing as a beautifully balanced and perfectly proportioned flower, this geometric shape is recognised in many cultures around the world. It is developed by 13 separate spheres that interconnect through the design to create a unique pattern. Within the different shapes formed by the 13 spheres are represented many geometric and mathematical laws that are still used today. As a symbol the Flower of Life is considered to demonstrate the whole of the universe as well as its diverse components working together in harmony.

The Flower of Life can be found almost everywhere. The oldest known example of the Flower of Life has been discovered at the Temple of Osiris at Abydos, Egypt.  However, as one of the most ancient symbols known to mankind, we also find the Flower Of Life at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, a Buddhist temple at Ajanta, India, in ancient Chinese temples, in the Louvre, in Spain, Japan, Lebanon, at the city of Ephesus and many other places.

The Flower of Life – used today for study and meditation – is considered as a very ancient source of knowledge. Circles explain different aspects of reality and the symbol contributes with information ranging from the human body to the distant galaxies. It is revered for its ability to allow you to connect to your higher spiritual self as well as promote healing.

Sacred Geometry

Sacred Geometry is the basic fundamental building block of our Universe, based on mathematics and form. From the farthest reaches of the cosmos to the atomic structure of a single cell within the body, the same laws of form and mathematics apply. These displays of mathematical and geometric constants are confirmation that certain proportions are woven into the very fabric of nature. Recognising the significance of this simple fact offers us the means to understand how and why such matters were considered sacred. They and everything around us, are the product of the delicate balance between chaos and order.
